Klaron Lotion Mechanism of Action
This prescription drug stops the growth of certain bacteria in the skin, which could worsen acne. It inhibits bacterial PABA or para-aminobenzoic acid, which is an essential component for bacterial growth. This mechanism of action is under the Woods-Fildes theory.
