Micardis HCT is used to treat high blood pressure. This medication is composed of a combination of angiotensin II receptor blocker and diuretic. It works by relaxing blood vessels and decrease blood pressure allowing the kidneys to eliminate fluid and sodium from the body.

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or to similar medications such as sulfonamide (ie. Sulfamethoxazole).
