Pro Air HFA is an oral prescription inhalation used to treat and prevent bronchospasm among patients with reversible obstructive airway disease. It is also indicated to control and prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.

It activates beta 2-adrenergic receptors that lead to adenylyl cyclase activation. How to Use Pro Air HFA

Every four to six hours, this is frequently given. If you are using it to prevent asthma before exercise, use it 15 to 30 minutes prior to exercising. - Hold the device with the mouthpiece down.
- Push as much air into your lungs by exhaling fully through the mouth.
- Put the inhalation in your mouth and seal your lips around the mouthpiece.
- Press the top canister fully while you inhale deeply and fully through the mouth.
- After the spray or mist comes out, take the finger from the top of the canister and remove the inhaler from your mouth.
- Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, and then breathe in normally. If you need to take another spray, wait for 1 minute and repeat steps 2 to 6.
- Place the cap back onto the inhaler and rinse your mouth.
