Rexulti Warnings
Do not take Rexulti if you have a known allergy to brexpiprazole or any inactive ingredients it may contain. Watch for any signs of serious allergic reactions, such as trouble breathing, swelling of the face and neck, severe dizziness, swollen lymph nodes, and itching/hives. If this occurs, stop taking this oral medication and seek emergency medical help immediately.
This medication may be contraindicated for people with a history of dementia-related psychosis, diabetes, high cholesterol or triglyceride levels, kidney problems, liver problems, heart problems, low white blood cell count, sleep apnea, trouble swallowing stroke, and seizures. Dizziness, drowsiness, and lightheadedness are among the side effects of this antipsychotic. You should practice safety caution when doing tasks that require alertness, especially driving. Further, Rexulti and alcohol can interact and cause CNS depression. It can cause sedation and psychomotor impairments. Avoid drinking alcohol while on this treatment.

Pregnant moms must avoid this oral drug as it is known to cause harm to unborn babies. For breastfeeding moms, it is unknown if this drug can pass into breast milk. The risks should be discussed with the physician prior to taking this medication.
