Vesicare Mechanism of Action
This antagonizes the M3 receptor, which prevents the contraction of the detrusor muscle. It also antagonizes the M2 receptor in order to prevent the contraction of the smooth muscle in the bladder. It is known to have the highest affinity to M1, M2, and M3 muscarinic receptors.
